Medical environments demand precision and perfection.

Medical environments bring unique challenges that impact health and even life. It is important to know that turning a valve the wrong way could have life-altering consequences. The Nichols Team educates ourselves on customer protocols and systems before the work even begins. We also accomplish the work in a treatment environment with minimum disruption to patients and care-givers. We understand that a medical treatment facility can’t be clean at completion of the project unless it was kept clean during construction of the project.

Have a unique vision? Call the Nichols Construction Team.

No construction company in Rochester had designed and constructed a blood processing facility until we built the American Red Cross blood processing facility on John Street. No one had transformed a broadcast facility from analog to digital technology until we did for WXXI – all while keeping WXXI operating 24/7/365. Elephant Exhibits don’t look very complicated from the outside, but ask for a tour of the inside and see it for yourself. And when our printing customers like Hammer Packaging and Diamond Packaging needed to install a $14+ million dollar press on a special foundation that MUST be exact, they called the Nichols Construction Team. Simply put, we excel at building unique and special installations because we’re a construction company that has the know-how, drive, commitment and passion for it! We strive to meet your vision no matter how unique it may be, take a look at some of our specialty construction projects and let us help you with your unique challenge.

Culver Medical Group, Primary Care Network

The Nichols Construction Team under the leadership of Mark Chester and Jerry Lanse provided us with the knowledge and flexibility to create a space in which a new model of healthcare delivery will be tested. The Team had to accommodate the needs of all clinical delivery services, work within the confines of an old and challenging building, and incorporate the special accommodations required by this population. The space looks fantastic, the crew was courteous and invested in the project, and our patients are all in agreement that their care will be improved due to our new home. My staff is eager to provide care at 905 Culver Rd.

Many people warned me to “get ready,” that building new would be a terrible experience. Thanks to The Nichols Team, the process was exciting and fun.
