The primary objective of the Nichols Construction Team Sales Associate (SA) is to generate leads and introductions to profitable project opportunities.
This position will require that the SA be a highly motivated self-starter and shall be at ease networking and cold-calling. This is an entry level position – and although experience in the construction industry is desirable – it is not required. The SA will become fully informed of the type of projects that are most desired by NCT.
The SA will be fully supported by NCT in identifying opportunities for follow-up. The SA will also generate their own leads by reviewing public project posting publishers, reading business periodicals and any other ethical means to gain introductions and opportunities. The SA will enjoy the benefit of representing a firm with 37 years of experience and a reputation for quality and integrity.
The SA will work closely with NCT Partners, Project Managers and Estimators to review leads and opportunities identified by the SA. The SA will attend weekly business development meetings.
The SA position is fully commissioned/draw based compensation package. The SA will be provided a salary each month of $2,500 that will be subtracted from earned commissions. The SA will be provided an expense allowance of $500 per month to use for approved purchases. The compensation will be based on projects with a value of $500K or more. Commissions will be excluded for previously identified prospects and NCT customers over the last 5 years.
Commission Schedule is as follows:
.5% for all Sales to be paid upon signing of contract by Nichols Construction Team
.25% for all sales to be paid upon completion of project where NCT realized GP in excess of 6%
