PROJECT INFORMATION

Nichols Construction Team was honored to partner with Rochester Hope and Hanlon Architects on the expansion of their Clinton Food Pantry – an organization that plays a vital role in supporting individuals and families throughout our community.

The project included the construction of a 36’ x 30’ addition on the west side of the existing facility, featuring a new foundation system, slab-on-grade floor, exterior wall and roof framing, vinyl siding, shingle roofing, and the installation of new windows and doors. Interior improvements included a new drop ceiling, upgraded electrical systems, HVAC split systems, and the creation of a new opening to seamlessly connect the existing space with the addition – enhancing flow and functionality.

Additional upgrades such as new interior and exterior doors and the installation of an ADA lift ensure the space is accessible and welcoming to all who rely on its services.

Beyond construction, our team was proud to contribute hands-on volunteer efforts, including insulation, drywall installation and finishing – further supporting the mission of this important organization.

This project would not have been possible without the collaboration and commitment of our trusted Strategic Partners, including Flower City Masonry, 84 Lumber, Kamco, Sumner Leigh Electrical, Trison Mechanical, Image City Interiors, Victor Excavation, CSG Builders, Northstar Lifts, and Five Star Construction. Their partnership and shared dedication helped bring this vision to life.  Joaquin and Cypress O’Connor also volunteered their time, making this a true family affair rooted in giving back to the community.

This project is about more than building space – it’s about strengthening a resource that provides food, dignity, and hope to those who need it most. The expanded pantry allows Rochester Hope to serve more individuals with greater efficiency, while creating an environment that reflects care, respect, and community.

We are especially grateful for the leadership of Michael O’Connor and Adam Fayko, whose dedication helped bring this project to life.

At Nichols Construction Team, we believe strong partnerships build strong projects – and strong communities build a stronger future.
