Michael O’Connor
Project Manager
Michael joined the Nichols Team in 1999. Michael began his career as a carpenter’s helper and through dedicated effort became a highly skilled craft worker with cross-functional capabilities. Today, Michael has transitioned from a project Superintendent to Project Manager – leading and coordinating every aspect of successful outcomes.
Michael is passionate about his work and is dedicated to the Team’s Mission and Culture. One of Michael’s specialties is working in occupied environments. He schedules and manages his work to cause minimal disruption to our Customers. We have received numerous compliments on Michael’s ability to get a project done with great care given to the occupant’s needs.
Michael has been engaged in a wide diversity of projects including retail, commercial, education, worship, hospitality, senior housing and many other unique installations. He led the restoration of the Family Life Center for St Pius X church necessitated by the tragic fire that destroyed the original Sanctuary. Recently, Michael led renovation efforts at the FieldTex new corporate headquarters Michael is currently managing a major renovation at the RGE facility on Mushroom Blvd in Henrietta NY.
