Kevin Kuechler
Project Manager
Kevin is the newest member to join Nichols Construction Team, however, has worked some form of construction most of his life. Kevin shares that as a boy, the start of his construction career began with working side jobs with his dad on the weekends. This would later influence him in becoming a union carpenter, and work commercial construction for several years, where he worked on a wide variety of projects from skyscrapers in downtown Chicago, to 30,000 SQFT warehouses. While working as a carpenter, Kevin decided to further his studies and received his associate degree in criminal justice from Western International University. He then became a police officer in a suburb of Chicago, where he worked numerous positions ranging from a detective to an evidence technician, to then being a sergeant for 14 years.
Over the years spent in law enforcement; Kevin continued to work side jobs on interior renovations projects and began his own business building custom furniture. Through the years, he never lost the desire to build, and therefore, when his family decided to relocate to NY, he found it to be the perfect time to get back into the construction industry.
Kevin confirms that through his vast array of experience, customer service has always been at the forefront of any position he has held. He also enjoys being a part of a Team and seeing the customers vision come to fruition through careful planning and execution. Kevin clearly understands and values the importance of customer satisfaction; therefore you can count on him to work diligently to exceed your expectations.
In Kevin’s spare time, he and his family love spending time outdoors, and has thoroughly enjoyed exploring his new surroundings.
